Making connections at Sunshine Elementary
Sunshine Elementary School is located right across LaSalle Blvd. from The Church In Miramar (Miramar Lutheran).
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, a dedicated crew of parishioners, led by Pastor Jeff Johnson loaded up the back of a car with breakfast food and school supplies and served breakfast to the Sunshine teachers and staff before a staff meeting. The students were off that day. We had the opportunity to meet and enjoy conversations with the staff.
In addition to breakfast, church members collected school supplies for Ms. Garces’ students. Ms. Garces was kind enough to send us a picture with the children and school supplies.
